I’ve long strayed away from photography, both from behind the camera and as its subject. For a variety of reasons, however, I now find myself in possession of both a respectable point and shoot and a new smart phone which sports 10 megapixels and can shoot 1080p video.
Setting aside that I am green at photography (and highly over-saturated Instagram green at that), an interesting thing that I was actually able to try out myself today were the myriad of little workshop websites that will stitch together panoramic photos for you.
Dermander was probably my favorite of the few I tried, mostly because they didn’t try and snare you with micro-currency, but there’s no Android app!? Crazy. I really like the use of geolocation and Google map though. It probably helps that D.C. is such a panorama-friendly city.
